Theft of generator from a farm in Melsonby, near Richmond 🚔
We’re appealing for information about the theft of a generator from a farm at Melsonby between 11pm and midnight on Thursday 30th July 2026.
The suspects have allegedly entered the farm through a gate located on the road between Melsonby and Aldbrough St. John and stolen the generator from the farm.
The generator is described a weighing between 1-2 tonnes, so a large vehicle must have been used to transport the generator away from the farm.
It is believed the suspects exited the farm through the same gate and headed in the direction of Aldbrough St John or Melsonby village.
The generator is by Stephill Generators, model SSDP33, serial number 627963 ⬅️
We’re appealing for information about anyone who may have seen this generator or has CCTV in the area of Aldbrough St John or Melsonby.
